I propose we have it at Danville on a weekend with some racing going on so us folks with Y chromosomes can go over to VIR for the day :).

Based on a quick conversation w/ Chris, this is probably going to be a June event based on everything else we have lined up for autox for the begining of the year. Seperate thread coming out on that shortly....

Matt - this is such a great event for ladies just like your wife. But you have to sweeten the pot a little bit. Something along the lines of "go out and try this event and, if you really don't like it, I'll leave you alone about autox."

We REALLY make this low stress, high fun, lots of laughing and whooping it up. I know it's hard for non-autocrossers to even consider this would be a fun day, but it is. The biggest proof I have....David's wife, Laura, didn't give an outright NO when asked about the event. She did the last chick school after YEARS of avoiding autox like the plague. This is HUGE! :D

while i realize Danville has been the traditional place how about NCCAR? much better pavement.

i'll work on getting MM and "The Little Woman" to tag team this.

My guess is limited space. not optimal for running a "dual" course format that most of our schools do. Cant wait for their expansion... It will then be big enough plus a few.

I'm not familiar with NCCAR - where is it? I'm not chairing, so it's not my call. But I think we would like to have the school in conjunction with an event the same weekend AND at a location that is relatively close so that location of the school is not a deterrent! Danville and Sanford are both good locations. And we traditionally don't run dual courses at the chick school. But again - not my gig this year, so things may change. (I just can't help but stick my nose into it, though! ) :P

plenty of room for two to three element training sections on a 45 second course.

and the pavement is highway grade, grippy and smooth.

nice to know... not that I will ever be doing a chick school. knowing that now, NCCAR sounds just as good as danville. only Danville will possibly give the guy's something more to do... maybe

like watch bigger dudes drive cars? NCCAR seems like the perfect place for a dude to pull up a chair and a cold one and let the Chick's DD on the way home.

better bring a Pik-a-Nik basket however. Chez Hardees is the finest dining to be found for several miles i do believe.
