It's ok, I will run in STX or tire (can I with my intake?) and have a tail wagging good time.

I don't see why an STX car couldn't run TIR class, unless there's are rule against it. It's been done before: http://thscc.com/autocross/events/2010/ ... s.html#STX

I'm bummed. It looks like I'm missing my first event in two years because my assistant will be out of state for a wedding (either he or I have to operate the playground store). To make matters worse, I have to work on the weekend of the 5-6th, my birthday and the last non-points event. I guess it could always be worse...

Gotta love running with a skeleton crew during the great recession. :(

Yeah, I told Trip that day that he can either run TIR-BSP or open STX but an ST* car can't run in TIR.

Yup, no ST* cars in TIRE

Street Tire Class (TIR) - A class where a vehicle complying with SCCA® Solo II® vehicle class rules may compete on street tires which have a treadwear rating of 140 or greater. Exceptions may be granted for vehicles equipped with OEM tires with ratings less than 140, but the competitor is required to show documentation to the Autocross VPs of such OEM equipment.
Note: This does not apply to Street Touring classes.

Here is the formula:

Currently we are at 4 pivot cones....for every 10 additional preregistrations, that number will decrease by 1.....get going :).

I hate to point out a flaw in your plan, but... I think this may cause more de-registrations than pre-registrations! :poke:

I agree. I find pivot cones to be a good reason to turn around and go home after complaining a LOT.

And I know one who is un-registering. Still have some sort of ignition problem and my first stab at throwing parts at it didn't do the job. It runs but it still has a "hitch" in it. Not going to try and troubleshoot it somewhere between Greenville and Danville.

it would appear that the black car, our beloved e30 will not be ready.. wiring is not the same between the two years.. so we are sharing the wrx... my father and my car should be interesting.
he is out of town right now, however i will ask him when he gets in. years of driving for the rallycross season maybe we will drive for the autocross season.. especially if rallycross falls. I certainly hope not however. I love rally alot.. :sing:

I know a couple of Bedells who are coming that aren't registered. Like me, they seem unable to follow even simple instructions.

Stop your whining. Pivot cones are easy unless you have a big Corvette with massive tires that rub your fender wells and limit your ability to turn. Jennifer can actually do them quite well. We did about 80 in a weekend at the last ProSolo extreme school. The whole idea of AutoX is to be able to adjust your driving to solve new challenges. We’ve had a lot of courses this year that cater to high horse power and/or high grip. A little change up keeps it fun. :soap:
