Bracket races:

$10 entry (all to V Foundation) and cap of 16 people per day. Guess your time for a given run and winner is the driver who is closest without going over. Trophy will be awarded to winner....plus bragging rights and/or a cocky THSCC forum signature for a year :).

Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20.

Listen to instructions on the intercom in the morning about where to go to buy raffle tix, food tix, pint glasses, register for bracket races and place bets.

Thanks, James...

The club remains "in transition" for club-based shade options, so bring your own canopy (I bring mine for WC duties). I think we have enough tables, as I recall an extra one or two stacked in the front of the trailer.

Assignment starts when you get there, but preferably no later than 8am. We'd like to get everyone taken care of prior to event start, but will remain "open" through the first run group. If you happen to be in the first run group, don't sweat it--run when you're ready.

Actually, James, can you bring your table please. We have 4 tables and maybe 1 small one. We need a table for WCs, 2 tables for raffles, bets, bracket race registration, pint glasses, food tickets, 1 table for the wired timer (or maybe just a chair) and Bowie wants 1 table for food prep on Sunday.

So we need maybe another table or two if people can bring them.

Also, we are trying to figure out food for Saturday too, but we might need an extra grill as Les' portable grill can only do so much. Anyone have a small grill that they'd be able to bring with them on Saturday?

That works for me, I'm shooting to get there at 7:30. Which should give me plenty of time to pull the car off the trailer and grab a course walk beforehand. My table isn't huge but it should be good enough to hold a money box and some sample items.

During Sunday's raffle, I'm happy to announce that Premium Imports will be offering five free oil changes (you can pay a little more for synthetic if need be) as well as five certificates for a set of four free tire mount & balances to benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

I've added a little info to this. The certificates for the mount & balance are each for a full set of 4 tires and race tires are in fact okay. They (as well as Discount) have been doing my r-comps for years. The only downside is the limit is a 17" rim.

So they'd rather put a 275/35/15 Hoho on a 15x6 than a 225/40/18 S drive on a 18x8? :)

Actually it's a wheel diameter issue. 18's might work (I can check) but the option 19" M3 wheels were a no-go.
