I really, really enjoyed the course especially the Mach I lane change, the large 'c' box, then the two nifty L-box gates before the crossover. I really wish that my first run was clean @ 64.1 (+1), but it went downhill from there fast with a couple dnf's due to overdriving and not looking ahead as well as getting behind. Darn!

Nonetheless, it was a super fun design so big thanks to the EC's and especially James Short for being an awesome GM and taking a lot of responsibility for many miscellaneous things that made the event what it was.
As you can image there were a lot of 'behind the scenes' things that needed to be knocked out and everything came together nicely. I'm happy to be part of this and the fact that we can donate a little over $4k to such a great cause, research funds to find a cure for cancer, makes you proud to be a part of such a wonderful club.
If your first name is Steve, you seriously need to pat yourself on the back too by the way! Mr. Westerfield is proving there are at least now
2 very fast HS cars in THSCC - way to put the smack down on day one for sure Stephen. Also, very nice driving to Steve Carter for a very impressive 65.0 on you guessed it, street tires. Whew! Unbelievably great driving!
