I think we're about good from a volunteer standpoint. We'll need a few folks as instructors and some folks to work the course. We'll have a definitive needs list shortly.

Thanks!!!

Wanted to add to this post, this event will be HARD CAPPED at 100 drivers due to starting at noon. We are at 49 drivers as of this writing. If you want in, I suggest you sign up now considering there is no restriction on who can sign up on the prereg page now. Just say'n....

Not to mention Facebook has ~20 people saying they are attending who are not preregistered, so with that said we only have 30 more slots :).

I will most likely be there early enough to help as well. I could do course work or something, i'm not really instructor material. I'm really interested in seeing what these cars can do.

Now up to 85...have/should we update the facebook page to remind folks that we are enforcing a cap at this event, and that walkups may end up disappointed? I'd hate for someone to drive roundtrip for nothing....

I think there are at least 3-4 instances of the hardcap info on the FB event wall. I told people on the Civic and Subaru forums that they'd be turned away if we hit 100.

Oh, I can help with instructing as well if my GM duties aren't getting in the way.

Hello SMARTT volunteers! Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and making this a successful event. Just a reminder that the SMARTT autox starts at 9 and ends at 11, so you'll need to be there at 8 AT THE LATEST. Remember, you'll be busy on course either working or instructing, so you'll have little time to get your car prepped for the event. We will have an hour before our event which will also allow a course walk.

Since I'm going to be in site all day today, I'll let James handle any forum posts. If you need to talk to me directly, buzz me at 909.602.3348. Thanks and see you on track at our brand new venue!!
