I have to give credit to my wife for the finish (it was her idea), I thought it was a VERY interesting element, and different than anything I've ever seen. I went through it smoothly on most of my runs, but wonder if I gave up time by staying too wide. It really made you think.
I think Mary disappointed that I wasn't
more horrified of the prospect of navigating it in a big car --- but I have to admit, it did leave everything up to the driver's imagination. I think I fouled it up six different ways, a couple of times fighting a low speed push at the halfway mark (probably the gritty surface + off-camber + trying to get on the gas too soon), and on one I turned in too well and almost (I think) ran over the center cone, steering away to avoid it. My last attempt was almost right, and in my excitement I pushed little wide on the last sweeper, and though I cleared the timer cone, I hit the one before it.
Anyway, I on my drive home I noticed this little button on the dash marked "TCS", and then realized that I did not push that button all day. I'm only aware of the traction control really kicking in once during the day, but ... hey, there's my excuse! I'm an idiot! (And forgetful.)
