Please respond if you are staying in Lburg Saturday night

I'm going to call the Jameson hotel tomorrow morning about possibly getting a group rate. Please respond if you intend on getting a hotel in Lburg on Saturday and wish to try to get in on a group rate.

FYI, the Hampton is completely booked and the Holiday Inn Express is on the pricey side of the spectrum. So something must be going on that weekend so I'd like to try to get this figured out fast.

You should have no problems getting a club discount rate from any of those hotels. How good or bad a rate remains to be seen. The one next to the Jameson, I forget which it is. I got them to give us a good club rate many years ago when I was taking this serious. They were very competitive with Jameson.

The only time I recall problems with the place being full and crowded was when they were hosting Highland Games.

The Holiday Inn Express is right next to the Jameson. You can go online and get a room for $108 + $6 for an additional adult for a 2 bed non smoking room. So I call them and they said they could do a group rate at $125 + tax.....so that makes no sense.

Jameson is going to call me back about what rates they could offer.

The Jameson is offering us a rate of $64.99+ tax per night for 2 bed rooms. Non-smoking vs smoking is determined based on availability.

If you want to book, call the Jameson and ask for Amy and mention that you are with the Tarheel Sports Car Club.

Just booked a room at the Jameson for $64.99 (I just asked for a cheaper rate and they gave it to me :-P

EDIT: Just saw they were giving us that as the group rate. He did NOT know about our group rate for THSCC, I did ask. Oh well...

I just went through the reservation web app and it brought up non smoking double for me.
