Just a reminder if you are planning on running on Sunday go ahead and register now. It will save you some money! Also a reminder on the following:

- update your registration for Sunday if you have changed cars, class, etc.
- unregister if you aren't going to be able to make it

Thanks!

Impressive, 103 already registered! And I've got two more to register tonight. Guess everybody is itching for autocross after a long winter break!

Guess I should tempt the fates and pre-reg my disassembled car.

Yet again, I will be installing Koni's the day before an event....let's hope it works better than last July.

I put all of my rear deck and trunk interior back in (it's been out since my Koni install at your place way back when) the night before leaving for Dixie in the cold rain around 10:30. It took three times longer than it should have and it was a ton of fun. Jim had a fun time with his Motons too. He or she that says stock is easy to prep for is w-r-o-n-g.

Isn't pressure a great motivator!!

hehe, yeah. I've got about 150 miles on my new clutch. The pressure of the event was enough for me to get off my ass and actually finish it up.

On that note, how many miles do you think I need to put on a new clutch before I bolt up race tires and beat the hell out of it?

I put mine on then did an autocross and went to VIR after driving to work once or twice. Looked fine when I pulled it off last week.

You might be joking, but as long as you trim the minimum amount of material away, there is nothing illegal about what you did :) - AB

There was actually no trimming, purely an X. I was joking too given the CSP convo yesterday :).

As I was tearing away the grey carpet stuff in the rain I actually thought about that being a weenie protest just like not having the plastic strut tower shields that go on the cowl. SRS BIZNSS!

106 pre-reg now, are we going to challenge our no entry cap on the very first event of the year? That wouldn't be such a bad thing I suppose.

I'm about to close the event so don't fear. It will mean more walk-ups Sunday, but with us taking member apps and it being the beginning of the season I think I'll open registration before 8:30 on Sunday.

Who knew that $5 surcharge for walk-ups would be such a motivator!

edit: don't forget to print out and sign annual tech forms...makes the CoT's job easier!

I just tried to pre-register to beat the 8pm deadline and I got a message saying that registration was already closed, and that registration closes at midnight on the thursday before the event.
1. What is the actual deadline?
2. Do I still save 5 bucks since I tried to pre-register in time? :D

Either way, seeya Sunday!
