I've heard some rumors about Points #8 being moved from October 24th to October 31st (something about a conflicting event at VIR in Danville that weekend). Was a decision ever reached about this?

Only reason I'm asking is that I'm currently scheduled to be on-call for work that first week, which is clearly incompatible with autocross.

This was probably discussed at those monthly club meetings which I have on my calendar and never seem to be able to attend... please forgive me :(

IIRC, the points #8 will be Saturday 10/30 at Danville...

10/31 = partytime!

That would be perfect. I won't have to change my on-call week, will be able to watch the Korean Grand Prix live on 10/24, and party on Halloween after autox!

So is it still going to be at Danville (albeit on the 30th) ?

Why do they love scheduling that event on the same day as the 13 hour at VIR every year?

Yes, still at Danville, just moved from Sunday the 24th to Saturday Oct 30th.

Just for completeness, please note that the NCAC is now Oct 2-3 in Sanford. Oct 3rd will be points event #7 (held during the 2nd day of NCAC), replacing the previously scheduled date which was at the end of Sept.

Thanks for clarifying.

Any chance of getting the THSCC registration website updated, as well as the THSCC Google Calendar?

I just emailed Carl with this information, so hopefully he'll update the calendar(s).

I agree Keith. Oct 30th will cause quite a few people to miss the autocross due to crewing or spectating at the 13 hour. I realize that Goblins Go is probably a bigger event from a participant stand point, but the 13 hour is no slouch.

Looks like I might be missing the last 3 events this year due to scheduling.

tomorrow is out, Oct 3 I'll be at Disney, and now Oct 30th I am planning on going to the 13 hour.
