That would be a pretty fast bail!

We'll see. I haven't put a mile on it since the DC ProSolo, mainly because I don't want to put a ton of miles on it since I think the engine will grenade... I now have a full 2100 miles on it. While it's a fun car, but gets piss poor mileage and really isn't a joy to drive on the streets. It does attract a lot of attention too from all of the ricers...
I think I will do another year of Pro's in it and see how I feel then after getting the setup right. You still want to bring it to Nats? - AB
You need a mustang then. The mustang is actually a fantastic GT car, and I enjoy driving it a lot on the street. After 34,XXX miles so far I will say the car has been solid and hasn't needed anything. The AC seems a touch on the weak side, but that seems to be the norm from most folks I talk to. I haven't had to take it back to the dealership yet. Of course I can't say how good the 5.0 will be, but the 4.6 has been great. The sound give me wood everyday, and most honda bois now leave me alone.

When I priced 11's using my X-plan I came up with ~$30200 before destination and tax on a 300A package car with the addition of 3.73s and Brembo package.
I would guess the optimal AX car would use the 3.55s (same price as the 3.73 option ~($395)), and hard to say on the Brembo's since I beleive that gets you a 9.5" wide wheel at the expense of 19" tires. I can't remember if the non-brembo cars are using 8.5 or 9" these days.
In either case the car seems like a real bargain and I would jump on it if I could.
Michael,
I did a gearing/mph spreadsheet and assuming you would want mid 60's in second, 3:31's seemed more appropriate . . . but I didn't use 19 inch Hoosier OD's for the tires (The Brembo package comes with 19's). I assumed 18's but I guessed on the size.
Since I would get an automatic for daily driving it is a non issue other than "this is my hobby and I cannot help but be interested".

What are the odds the car won't be traction limited in second almost all the time in any case . . . especially on THSCC sites?

Most of the 18" Rs available seem to effect gearing significantly. If you did use the available tires sizes you may find 3.31s are even more advantageous (and would save you $395). The 3.55 comment was for a target of near 60 or just above. That being said as much as I use the car on the street and how little interest I have in doing a nationals event at this point in my life (kids) I would have to get the 3.73s.
