Well, I've discussed it with the nasioc autoxers, and it sounds like it's pointless to run against S2000's due to them being seconds faster, I'll go through a lot of tire in a year and a stock STi reportedly isn't much fun on R compounds. So I'll be going with the STU tires, and using the savings vs. R compounds to swap to stiffer springs and do an HPDE. And I'll be able to add front camber bolts, which will help with tire wear at VIR (at autoxes, the front tires will mostly be countersteering, so edge wear won't be an issue).

Ordering Dunlop Z1 Star Specs tonight.

I was talking about changing to Group N brakes and being able to use 15 or 16" wheels for rallyx/ winter/ rally stages. I have the Group N brakes on the WRX right now, but I need to get new rotors to fit the STi. Still working on it.

Will a 16" wheel clear the LGT calipers?

Are those group N brakes a smaller diameter rotor? If so, not legal for STU.

Derp derp. I was planning to swap the stock brakes back on for autox and track events.

Same as a lot of other people around here; I just have a habit of admitting to it, while the others keep it a secret. :P
