Greetings, fellow autocrossers:
I'll keep it short and simple. Without volunteers to drive the club bus to and from our events, we don't get to autocross. Without the bus, we're sunk. So please, if you have the ability to drive the bus for an autocross weekend, you'd be helping out a large number of your friends and fellow club members.
It's actually a pretty sweet deal. In exchange for driving the bus out and back, you get some pretty sweet benefits:
- Your entry fee for the event is waived
- You won't have to have a normal work assignment during the event
- Your hotel room, if you need one, is paid for by the club
- You will be a hero to your fellow autocrossers
See? Not a half bad set of benefits.
If you have towing experience, and have something to drive once you're at the event, please consider being a bus driver. Thanks!
EDIT: Below is the running list of bus drivers, who are awesome. I understand that some of you have said "I can *probably* do it on <whenever>," this is mostly so I can keep track of it. Organization will set me free, or something like that.
