What does chairing an event entail for those who don't know?

It's pretty easy. You start with an innocuous forum post like the above. Next thing you know, it's railroad time!

--Donnie, if I can do it, anyone can. You just need a co-chair for your first one. There's a manual and everything.

lest no one else mentions this, be prepared for a sh**pile of criticism from the participants regarding your course design also. win, win all the way around.

I've added the 2010 autocross schedule to a Google calendar and made it public. You can subscribe using the following links, depending on what calendar app you are using.

XML: http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/b4 ... blic/basic
ICAL: http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/b4r ... /basic.ics
HTML: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?sr ... a/New_York

Hope someone finds this useful.

Looking at the schedule on the THSCC website, it says the Novice school on March 27th and the event on the 28th are at Laurinburg.

But if you click on the School link or the event, it says Danville, VA...

which location is good?

L'burg is the correct location for the nov/1st autox event.

Both locations are good. But Laurinburg is correct. ;-)

While looking at the entry list for the first event, it says there are 0 entrants.

That would be because registration hasn't opened and the people with season passes haven't been loaded in yet. Check back about a month before the event.
