Finally got my Mazda2 done on Thursday. John definitely does good work and I'd recommend him to anybody else who was looking to get their car tinted.

Just need to wait a few more days to roll down the windows!

So, I broke down and had John tint the windows in the rolling easy bake oven. He did a great job and I highly recommend. Very clean install and just like Karl stated, he removes the door panels in order to apply the tint below the sweeper line so there is no chance of having the film roll up at the bottom of the window. Very nice appearance and really helps the AC out.

So a +1 for John and window tinting....

Resurrecting this thread for an update.

Just had the windows tinted in my ES 300h by John Markum at shade sound security. As previously mentioned, he continues to do excellent work, and I'm very pleased with the results. 40% tint, so it should remain within legal range without having to pay a fine and I won't get fried by summer sun and heat! 8)

He has a new location in South Forest industrial park in Wake Forest,

Bump for another update and another recommendation for John at Shade Sound & Security. We took him our new (to us) 2015 Dodge Charger R/T for tint this weekend. I first contacted him via email about 6 weeks ago and he responded within an hour. We exchanged a few emails and once we were able to work out a time when we could shuttle the car to him, I called a left a message asking to set up an an appointment and ask a few questions. John promptly called me back, answered my questions, and setup a time for us to drop off the car. We're an hour away so he stayed late to accommodate our schedule as well.

He explained the options, and was very interested in making sure I would get the look I wanted. He called to let me know when the car was ready and stayed late again so we could come and pick it up.

His work was top notch. His prices are right in line with most other shops, but his work is superior IMO. To top it off he gives you a lifetime warranty, so what more can you ask?

The car looks so much better with the tint and the boss is happy, so I'm happy!

I went to Shade Custom Tint http://www.shadecustomtint.com/, similar name, different business. I have had them do 2 of my cars, one of which is a major pita and they both turned out excellent.
