OK, I'm having trouble finding a place that will rent me something I can use to tow down to Sandblast rally and back.

Mark Cooper suggested Enterprise, they'll rent an F250 and only if I have a $1,000,000 commercial insurance.

Any other ideas?

Simon

I used a U-haul truck to tow Kate's focus from texas.

Try not using a british accent when you call them. Maybe you will have better luck getting someone to rent to you.

Call Matthew Johnson, or search the nc-rally archives on groups.yahoo.com first - he rented vans from somewhere in Raleigh (Leith? Capital?) for at least 1 full season of Rally America events. I think he rented plain vans and added a trailer hitch and brake controller himself, but I didn't get the feeling that it was difficult to do.

I think he posted details on nc-rally, but failing that I can give you his # if you don't have it. He doesn't always call back promptly, though.

Rent a Trailblazer/Envoy from any place. They all come with a 2" receiver.

I'll leave trailer brakes up to you.

i think crossroads ford rents trucks Simon. of course given the current discounts and rebates you would do just as well to buy one. i have a buddy that works there, let me know if you want his name.
