 Post subject: Mechanic in North/West Raleigh Area

My friend has a 94 Nissan FourRunner that needs a new rear main seal. He's looking for recommendations of mechanics in the area that would be trustworthy of such a task!!

Nissan Pathfinder or Toyota 4-Runner.

Can't have your cake and eat it too (though the recommendations are likely to be the same).

Opps...Brain fart. Thought one thing and typed another!
I had the 94 Nissan, which is what I sold when I bought the 97 M3. My friend has a TOYOTA 4-Runner.

BTW.... Toyota dealership quoted $900 to replace the rear main seal.

The transmission has to come out, so that isn't shocking. If it's a 4x4 I suppose the transfer case will be coming out too.
