A friend of mine destroyed the auto-tranny in his Toyota Tundra. Does any one have any experience with the following place, or can recomend someplace else. I checked the vendor list, but didn't see anyone.

Eastern Trans. In Raleigh
Cottman in Cary
NC Transmission in Fuquay
Fred Anderson

It has been quite a while but my Dad had Charlie Brown on Old Wake Forest rebuild the tranny in his Crown Vic after he smoked the OD clutch. Worked fine for years after the repair.

I have given up on Raleigh Trans Shops long time ago:

Call Rick Williams @ Willians Automotive.
919 749 4529 house/shop
919 231 0229 cell

Rick used to own W&W Transmissions and is very good.
For VW Trans axles I would recomend Geoff Zimmer
