You'd have thought, that after a few autocrosses, my son would have developed some appreciation of car physics...

Last week, when it was damp, he managed to achieve some serious understeer while trying to navigate the roundabout (I still can't call them traffic circles!) on Pullen Road at NCSU. The front right wheel assembly smacked hard against the curb and broke a bunch of stuff. Needed a tow.

Since he's on a student's budget (and I'm not paying for him anymore) he's in need of a cheap source of wheel parts for his Mazda 626.

You help and advice is appreciated.

Black Forest Industries gets pretty good prices from WorldPack. Talk to Adam Ligon on these forums, he's part owner of the company. If WorldPack carries Mazda parts, he's your best bet for a good deal.

Oh, and tell your son that if he's gonna hit another curb, the one on the inside of the circle is lower and smoother.
