What business around here is a good source for creating and installing vinyl graphics on a car? I'm not planning on anything fancy, but I want whatever it is to be well done.

Thanks for suggestions!

I know Aaron uses SpeedGraphics (not local), and just because his car isn't pretty, that doesn't mean yours can't be :)

I'm sure Diane's father can also hook you up.

Chuck and Donna did the graphics on the Celica. You might give them a call.

Tom Hoppe got his done at Phantasm Motorsports. But they just made them - Tom installed them. Those guys may not know what they're doing with cars, but they definitely know stickers.

We're really looking for someone who will do the installation as well. Any recommendations there?

Thanks!

I need to tag along on this post about (what else) the bus as well...

Later this year we're going to need a full-service shop to do up the new trailer and some stuff on the bus. I'll need to find someone hopefully club-friendly that can take sponsor logos via email and put them on the trailer with our size and location requirements.

If I had to guess right now, the rig will probably have to make 2 or 3 such visits to get all of the stuff done.

If anyone has any sway with a local shop that can take care of us, start talking to them. We're of course cheap and on a shoestring budget, but want quality work done.

Emmie and Carl - if you're shopping for vendors, keep this in mind. If you want to approach whomever you decide on about closer ties with the club, there is *obviously* a need for a good, reliable full-service shop.

We can offer trailer ads, promotion to club membership, and even possibly some space at the events for people to order numbers and magnetics. Any shop we work with HAS to be reminded that their prices need to be competitive and even better than competition to survive in an arrangement like this though :)

Email or call me if you get any leads.

I don't have any "sway" with him, other than as a customer, but Tom Bishop at AutoSport Gallery does vinyl graphics. I don't know how much true "design" they do, max size capabilities, and whether they install or not, but as a Heel & Toe advertiser (has he ever been a sponsor?) he might be worth approaching.

My cutter is limited to 13.3 x 39" panel without piecing, so that's a little small for bus/trailer. I can do/help with installation it's the easy part... (and I learned a lot of dos and don'ts doing our Celica)
Tom at ASG's cutter is bigger, but his software pkg is old and limited and he told me he doesn't really like cutting vinyl.
If you are looking for multicolor or shaded logos like the THSCC logo etc you'll need to find someone with a combo printer-cutter with outdoor resin ribbons. You have to ask about what quality of vinyl the shop is offering (rated in years of exposure) as some of the cheap vinyl will shrink, curl and lift in short order.
