(Note - even though I am good friends with Adam, this is unsolicited and I'm not getting anything in return!)

Thumbs up for Adam Ligon's fledgling parts business Black Forest Indstries (especially if you live near him in Cary for pickup) - he has been able to get 90% of the stuff I have been looking for, and 90% of the time it is less than any other places I have found. And no shipping. ATE brake fluid, BMW parts, Corolla parts, fuel filters, oil filters, brake rotors, etc etc - I've been getting everything from him.

He usually gets parts the *same* day as well - he says that if he places an order by 2pm, the parts will come in the same day. It's nice to live in a city with a WorldPac distribution center :)

Be sure to give Adam a call and check his price before calling your usual parts supplier - 468-5400.

Yes Adam will do you right. He found some rotors for the Legacy that appear to be the same as the factory part in a different box for a great price.

Thanks Adam!

I did not realize Adam trafficked in stuff for cars made outside of Germany. I'll have to hit him up for when I start reconditioning the CRX.

I'll echo what Mike said. Tons of parts available at very competitive, if not the cheapest prices you'll find. I don't have a VW anymore, and he still sells me parts. Amazing :)

Ditto. Adam came through with some Brembo rotors for my son's Focus at a decent price.

Add me to the list of people who will be buying stuff from Blackforest. I picked up some tuneup / repair stuff for the CRX today. I ordered it yesterday afternoon late.

Adam's prices seem to me to be impossibly cheap. $24 for a front brake rotor almost makes me feel guilty. The $100 master cylinder (NEW btw - not reman) - was 20 bucks cheaper than NAPA.

Now if we can only get our man Adam to start trafficking in Honda go-fast bits, I'll be all set...

Man feel the love :toast:

I would like to thanks all of you for the good comments. Me, and my partners, are trying to develope good local support.

As for what we get, can get, etc. We specaiaize in german cars and parts for them , both OEM and Performance. However most of our suppliers carry parts for at least all imports if not all cars in general. We also deal with Gforce, Bell, and Sparco as far as race supplies.

I try not to solicit people on here, unless they ask  , and won't post anymore about this unless asked questions.

Thanks again for the support

[jest]adam lost all credibility after i saw on BFI's site that he's "welcomed" r3vlimited to the BFI family.. [/jest]

but really.. they're a bunch of punks.. but hey i guess you cant be picky when you're making money from it..

i wont hold it against you adam.. :D

Just another pat on the back for Adam. He sourced a few parts for my rear disk brake conversion project.

Lets see, rear rotors:

Adam's price: $35 each
Advance Auto: $55 each

I ain't a rocket scientist, but I can tell which one is cheaper. Don't let the prices fool you either, both sets of rotors looked quite nice, both sets were made in Japan, etc.

I'll be ordering again!

Oh yeah, I can order from Adam and pick up/pay at the same time, I have to go to Advance Auto, order and pay, then make a second trip to pick them up.

Scott
