...Behind Jiffy Lube and AutoZone on Capital Blvd.

This vendor has been mentioned recently and I thought that I'd throw my hat into the ring.

Back in July I ran off the road and slid into a mountain while up near Deals Gap. I bent up all the body panels and door on the right side of the car and damaged the urethane front nose piece (among other things). The car sat for a while and I settled with the insurance since none of their "recommeneded" repair shops seemed to fit the bill.

Simon Wright (me thinks) mentioned this place and I took my car there for him to fix the nose rather than replace it. Loyd looked at it said it would be no problem and gave a nice estimate. He asked how I did that and my wounded ego kicked in and I muttered and mumbled and pointed to the right side.

He took a look at the damaged right side and told me that he thought he could fix it...since he doesn't do body part replacement I was a tad leery. He told me that he could do the job and gave an estimete that was significantly below what I had gotten from the insurance carrier. Then told me that if he couldn't, that I was facing body part replacement anyway that he wouldn't charge me for work he had done but couldn't complete...fair enough, I'm in a no lose here.

I drop the car off and Loyd tells me that since my is so small (Miata) that for an additional $500 (still below what I got for the repair) he'd paint the whole car and take out all dings, scratches, etc. Again, more work than he specializes in and a larger job than he normally will do. We agree.

A litle over a week later I pick up my car and it's magnificent. To have a dent, ding, and scratch free and nicely painted 91 with >155k miles on it is a thing of joy!

I am very pleased with their work and recommend them to anyone needing repairs without hesitation and reservation. Loyd is a professional and a keen businessman. He treated me very well and I observed the same with other customers.

It is so nice to find a car enthusiast to do body work and to get a job done right and well.

Give him a try, you will not be unhappy!

If you want to see before and after pictures email me ol.
