Before I pick up the phone and call Kent Young out in Wake Forest, I thought I would check to see if there are any recommendations for someone closer to Cary for some Suburban service.

Trans flush and AC diagnostics (works, pressures look fine, but doesn't blow cold worth a damn - only a 10F temperature drop at the vent).

Thanks.

Not sure about the AC problem, they might be able to help, but any kind of Transmission work on an american car, take it to Modern Service in downtown Cary.

There are very few people I trust to work on my cars, but I'd trust Kent. He knows GM' s inside, out, up, down...you get the picture. He does excellent work and doesn't inflate the bill. He installed a new engine in my Z-24 and has done work on Sonya's car as well.

BTW, I a quirky problem with my car that he tried for a week to diagnose but couldn'tt a handle on it. Turned out that an aftermarket 02 sensor was the culprit which I discovered by accident later. The point is he worked on it for a good while, but since he couldn't fix it he didn't charge me. What a concept! I doubt you'll find many others that will do the same.
