Typically how much is a professional window tint job (for say a Miata) in the Triangle area? I paid $189 for my Cavalier 5 years ago which was well worth it. I was quoted $95 today for my Miata here in Wilson which seemed a little high since the windows are pretty flat, and there are only four small ones. I may be willing to visit the Triangle area for a better price. Anyone with experiences they'd like to share?

Yeah for formula one's best tint you are looking at at least $200 for any hardtop car. But then again you usually get what you pay for.

The shop here uses Lumar? That's what is on my Cavalier and after 6 years it still looks the same. Sounds like $95 is quite a deal huh?

Sounds like a plan. I'll leave Judi the Miata for the week and I will test the window tinting in the G-35.

Figured I'd dredge this one up instead of starting a new one...I'm very happy with the job Formula One on Spring Forest Road in Ralegih did on my S2000. They use Llumar film. When departing, I noticed a small scratch in the tint on the passenger side window - which they immediately stayed after hours to put right.

A little pricey at a little over 200 installed, but the lifetime warranty and quality of the installation made it worthwhile to me. For anyone curious who sees the car, mine's 40%. Dark enough that I no longer need to flip the day/night mirror at night, but still legal.

I had a friend of a friend tint my car with 20% Johnson brand film for $150. No real issues other than finding a place to pass my inspection.

Formula One did the tint on our Mazda 3. It was about $300 for 4 windows and the hatch glass, but they did it right and they did it fast and it looks great!

I plan on getting my Prelude done soon as the hotness is approaching wit a quickness. They quoted me $200 for it. 8) Well worth it in my opinion...
