Anyone have anything good/bad to say about Nissan Dealerships in the area? Seems like I have never heard anything good about Southern States in Raleigh, nor were the few experiences I have had going there very pleasant. I have always heard good things about Central Carolina Nissan. Never really heard anything about Southern States in Apex or Michael Jordan. I thought I remembered hearing a few club members getting new Armada's so I figured I would inquire about your experiences.

I bought a couple of vehicles recently from Michael Jordan (I know the sales manager). If you decide to look in that direction, let me know and I'll give him a heads-up.

I bought our '96 Maxima from Southern States. Since this was sorta "pre-Internet" I faxed a half dozen local dealers an "RFP" for the car I wanted. Southern States offered the best deal. The irony was that all the dealers were trying to sell me the same car (located at a Nissan dealership in Fredrick, Maryland) since only 5% of Maxima's have the 5speed I wanted. My first visit to the showroom was to pick up the car. It was fun to walk in and say "I just bought a car from Joe Zizzy, can you tell me which guy he is?" The Sales transaction went well.
I would avoid the Service Department. The factory recall of the 02 sensor was a nightmare.
