I was looking for some vinyl pieces to put over my now open E30 windows while I am transporting it to the track and back. So, I went to Conner Upholstery here in Durham to purchase some vinyl. After the guy showed me a few pieces, he told me that I had better go somewhere else, cussed at me and told me to "get the F*** out" of his shop, that he would "only make two dollars off of [me]" and told me to "never come back". I stood there shocked at what he had just said, and he told me again "GET THE F*** OUT!" So, I left.

I guess because I was only buying a couple yards of his stuff and wasn't hiring him to do any labor that I was being a nuisance and wasting 5 minutes of his time to show me what he had? In any case, I recommend you never give this guy your business.

wow, some people just aren't meant to run a business, just like the a-hole that ran us out of Rudinos a few years ago. I've never seen anyone so happy to run customers out of a restaurant. Now it's closed. Hopefully Conner's will be as well.... There's no need for that in today's business and social environment. BTW, I see that you've left appropriate comments on google. Well done....

I always think that if someone's good at doing a small job well, they can be trusted to do a big job well also. The guy who blows off customers because the sale is too small for his concern loses not only future (and likely larger) sales but also ruins a source of referrals.

That guy is an idiot. He may have been having an off day, but that attitude will pay him back in lost sales.
