My folks just bought a house in North Durham, and the basement area needs to be converted to a garage. Not super-simple work. Can anyone recommend a contractor? The work we had done by Chapel Hill Construction was fine but pretty slow.

Dustin Fredrickson, Brian Marks, and I have all had additions/garages/etc built by Joseph Grantham ... very happy with his work, pricing, design, and flexibility. He has (had?) good subs and knows how to get things done pretty effectively. He seems to be willing to make things as simple or fancy as needed.
