Matt, glad this worked out for you. in regard to shingles, don't skimp here. I went w/ the 50 year shingles and good up to winds of 100mph+. Do it right the first time. I'd also go w/ a neutral color as that allows you or the next house owner to change colors. My original roof had a green tint and that always dictated the color of the house. Now I'm going to change the color.

As for price points, I had 3 recommendations, 2 very close together, but Tim's prices also included purchasing and installing 2 skylights. For me, Tim charged right at 12000. I had one offer at 20k! These guys were done w/ my house in 3 days. Just keep a sharp eye out for nails. They will go over the property w/ one of those big ass 2' wide rolling magnets, but they still missed some.

As for leaks, I think you're ok. Right after my roof was installed we started one of the rainiest summers I've ever seen. No issues here...

I used David LeDuc 919.625.0584 He did a good job. hand nails, cleaned up. Did a good job
