After wrecking the rally car at Sandblast and rebuilding we find that the skid plate we inherited from Andrew needs some rework to accommodate a lower hanging header and slightly different mounting geometry.

I think the aluminum plate itself needs cutting and welding to make proper clearance.

Looking for a cheap-n-cheerful solution.

I have used this place for aluminum welding, as well as radiator repair and gas tank cleaning/repair/coating, and have been happy with the results. I think I found it from a recommendation on this forum.

Simon, if the job isn't time critical I can take it to class and have the instructors weld and cut the plate. I know the price is right "0$" pm me if your interested
