I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

And if your car doesn't have magnetic properties like mine :lol:

You can get low tac shelf liner for less than $10. Make enough numbers/letters to easily make it through a season. When they loose their tack just toss them.

I even used some book cover material that had cool metallic colors for less than $10.
