I've used Hendrick Collision before. They did a fabulous job on the paint, but a monkey could've done a better job on the mechanical bits.

Steering was done in correctly.
replacement brake rotors and calipers were pulled from the wrong model of my car (yes they installed USED rotors, calipers and pads)
replacement shock was blown.
they forgot to fill the center diff with trans fluid.

Oh I forgot to update this...

We had Hendrick do the work. There was no mechanical, just bodywork. The fit and finish and paint is excellent. For body work I would go there again. They used a new, not used hood.

To Jason's point on mechanical at Hendicks. We bought the CTS there used under Certified GM with extended warranty. They threw in M1 oil changes etc. Ann had them do some mechanical work and they forget to do things or do something sloppy. They also said they rotated tires. I marked 2 of them before the car went in. They didn't rotate the tires at all. I called the manager on it and the sloppy work. She apologized and next visit they didn't rotate them again, like they were supposed too. But did try to get Ann to spend more on billable work. I called the manager again and told her we were done and they would get bad feedback on quality of service and attention to detail. Once the extended warranty mileage happens they'll never see the car again.

As for the Caddy. We love the CTS. I'd buy used cars from Hendrick. Just don't let them service it.

Yep. Hendrick is all about some new cars. the Chevy side might be a bit better than the rest of the brands. i remember when i had a GMC 1500 and they were tied in with the Caddys, i wasn't impressed.

had my F350 repaired at the Collision Center. very nice work.

Appreciate all the listed feedback. Wondering if there are any updates as someone decided to use the back of my Acura TL as their stopping point. Messed up the bumper cover and perhaps the shocks behind it. True 2 Form in Garner is their insurance inspection location so it will go there next week. But indeed I can go anywhere. Negotiations will take place if my chosen shop is higher then their shop's estimate. Any advise will be appreciated since I usually do the work myself.

Thanks

Ron

I've used True2Form in Garner and couldn't have been happier with the experience.

Although I never had any work done there, T2Form Garner was one of the best organized and business-like shops I observed when I delivered for Hubcap Heaven a few years ago. This was from a population of over 20 body shops in the area.
