Hi everyone,

Well, it's that time again .. to do some needed work to the bus! We're planning to have Bus Day this Sunday at Hubcap Heaven in Cary from 10am to appx 2pm. And we're looking for volunteers! PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP if you can come, and if you're willing to take on any/all of the following. I would like to get at least 8 people to help out. We need some anal retentive people on the wiring issues.

Can anyone else think of any needs off the top of their head?

0. Transportation - someone to take the bus to HH and return it back again

1. Cleanup
-----------
Wash outside
Vacuum inside
Clean windows
Clean shelves, etc
Optional - paint wheels pretty color

2. Rig maintenance
----------------
Make plans for bus inspection
Install new plate tags (who has them?)
Check fluids - oil, trans, washer
Check tire pressure

3. Consumables / organization
------------------------------
Make bus consumables inventory (coordinate with Patrice)
Plan to order cones
Plan to order other stuff
Re-organize boxes of stuff if necessary (buy more plastic bins?)
Make labels for unlabeled stuff

4. DC Power
--------------
Fix broken power outlets (may require trip to Radio Shack)
Mount solar battery trickle chargers (on windows?)
Consider a hardwired invertor

5. Electrical stuff
------------------
FM transmitter - permanent mount, make instructions
Wiring cleanup - fix loose wires on floor and loose ceiling wire (with wire clamps?)
Clean up dashboard wiring
Investigate blown speaker (replace?)

Malia and I can be there. I think we are capable of helping with just about everything on the list - I do have the necessary retentive qualities. Let me know if we need to bring anything specific. Oh, if needed, we _could_ pick the bus up too.
