THSCC will be helping again this year with the
SMARTT Challenge (formerly known as the EV Challenge). The event is May 16-17. The range event will be May 16 at
Historic Oak View County Park again. We may need a volunteer (or two) to drive the bus over that day and do some announcing. The last two years we haven't been very involved in that though.
On Saturday, May 17, they will be holding the autocross portion of the challenge at the
McKimmon Center on NC State campus. We will definitely need 10-15 people that can come out and work the course and a few of those to come extra early and help set up on Saturday.
For those of you that haven't done it before, it's really great to see the effort the kids put into this. As always, free lunch right after the event and
YOU GET A FREE AUTOCROSS PASS. You are usually home no later than 2PM.
