Good luck. We'll be in our well-heated home on Sunday, what with it being 34° and all.

I'll try to take care of a few items on your list before delivery, though. (while it's well above freezing) :D

Holy crap it's gonna be cold! :) Bring your long undies. As long as it's sunny out it should feel fine, we'll all be busy.

I'll have a Mr. Heater for use inside the bus or trailer, and I'll have the IR heat kicking inside the workshop which (with recent insulation) should keep it 50 deg+ in the garage. If anyone has a jet heater for outside work, bring it.

In the late summer, early Fall, when the bus was at the kennel, Bernie and I emptied the trailer, cleaned all the shelves, box tops, scrubbed the floor, and took all the cones out and cleaned them. We also separated out the really bad cones, labeled them, and stacked them separately by the side door. So, unless the trailer got really dusty at one of the last RallyX events, it shouldn’t be too bad. We also scrubbed the outside of the trailer and bus and got a lot of the mildew and dirt off. Like Mike says, there is some lettering that needs repair. I think I pointed that out to Stephen when he came to drive the bus to Danville. I never found time to deal with the inside of the bus, so it’s still pretty dirty. At least when we were working on it the weather was freaky hot, not freaky cold!

when topping off coolant, do we need to be running the bus while we do it like a car motor. (as to not overwhelm the inlet port, on the radiator) or can we top it off normally. you may want more coolant than water in it, to resist freezing.. your call

Gwen - THANKS for doing all the cleanup last year - I wasn't aware of it. Should make our job this Sun a bit easier.

Pete - Coolant can be checked with the engine off. We use 50-50.

Note - I plan to drop the bus off at Triangle Truck on Monday for maintenance and a state inspection. The ol' hooptie has been pretty cheap to operate compared with the old school bus and I think the club can afford to have the pros do a thorough maintenance on her.

So, any other realistic requests or work items for the bus and trailer? Everyone please spend a moment thinking back to the last few events last year and think about what can be improved in our equipment to make our events run better. THANKS!

Don't know if any of you have seen the forecast recently, but Fishel was saying we'd get up to 12" of snow tomorrow in the Cary area (up to 3" in Four Oaks), starting in the morning. Want to postpone, or should I deliver the bus tonight? Cause I damn sure ain't driving it in the snow.
