2008 Club Schedule posted

The 2008 event calendar is now posted. Prereg pages exist, but no events are open for prereg yet. Blank info pages should exist for most events.

Please send mail to webmaster@thscc.com if you see problems (e.g. wrong dates, wrong event sites, dead links, etc.)

If anyone creates or finds a Google Calendar or iCal version of the THSCC schedule please post a link it up here!

I have found a public THSCC calendar on Google calendars for the last 2 years and it's quite a nice time-saver to not have to do it manually.

So thanks! to whomever did it in the past (and will hopefully crank out the 2008 calendar too

)

I didn't do it last year, but...I set it up in Google Calendars. AutoCross, RallyCross and the Track Program are all there.

I'm not sure how to get the link. But if you search THSCC in Google Calendars you can get it.

Sorry Carl, but we've had to make some changes to that calendar as we've had some scheduling conflicts and had to do some shuffling around. Changes to above.

May 4th is now in Danville

Jimmy V event is now May 31-June 1 weekend in Sanford

July 12 is moved to July 19 which is a Saturday not a Sunday

August is 10 is moved to the August 17

October 12 is moved to October 19

Yes, we switched June 1 and May 3-4.

Ok, here's where we're at after the changes. We'll get this posted up to the web ASAP. I suspect there may still be an overlap or two to Triad's schedule, but at least we're now confirmed.

3/8-9: Novice School and Points Event #1 - Laurinburg
4/13: Points Event #2 - Greenville
4/19-20: Evolution AX School - Danville
5/3-4: Chick School and Points Event #3 - Danville

I know this has been taken care of, but last couple of years I used a THSCC events calendar that Simon Wright had been publishing in iCal format. I don't see it out there any more, though....

Unfortunately, our mission was to make sure that Tarheel members could attend any Tarheel event during this calendar year from DE to rallycross to autocross. We actively worked with the other local club that many of our members have also joined to ensure that there is as little overlap as possible.

This area of the southeast is pretty well saturated with events as it is; I participated in 20 weekends of autocrosses in 2007 and never had to travel more than two and a half hours in any direction, and I *still* missed a half dozen or more that I could have attended.
