Art McDonald's father passed away today - visitation is Sunday from 3 to 5 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, 1113 W. Main St in Durham. Funeral is Monday, 11:00 a.m, same place.

Please keep Art and his family in your prayers.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Duke Memorial United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Anne White McDonald; his son, Arthur A. McDonald III; his brother, the Reverend Walter N. McDonald; and his sisters, Dr. Ruth Vingiello and Flora Dean.

The funeral service will be held Monday, December 31, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.

Contributions may be made to Duke Memorial United Methodist Church, 504 W. Chapel Hill St., Durham, NC 27701.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
