We are collecting 2007 photos and videos for the Christmas party.

If you have anything please get a copy to Jason Mauldin or me. The sooner we get it the better.

We will give preference to things with the greatest entertainment value, so please do your photoshopping before you submit it.

If you email it to me, please re-size images to no larger than 800x600, and no BMP or RAW files please. Just JPEG.

Let me know if you have a video and we will work out delivery. I can load it from a Mini-DV tape right to my hard drive, or I can get it off of DVD, etc. If you are still old-school and the video is analog, then I can arrage to do the capture onto a hard drive.

I don't promise we will use what you submit, but we will try.

Similarly, I'd like to get photos and videos from the track events that people have (or Scott, any that you know you won't be using).

I'd like an equal number of on-track, and off-track photos. I've made it my personal goal to help Mark V. out with the track program presentation this year! :lol:

Pretty sure you can just use in-car stuff from Charlie Guthrie for the off-track footage :P :P :P

Stacy/Scott, I managed to score some pretty sweet photos this past weekend, mostly from Sunday's TT. The workers let me go out to the turn 7 worker station and I was able to get right on top of stuff - even with the crappy 18-55 kit lens my XTi came with.

At the moment, the files are impossibly large - once I've got them sized down to something sane, I'll send them along.

What's the hard deadline?

Me too. From track events to the party after the Goblin's Go rally. Mostly stills, but I have some VIR and Rockingham footage too.

I think Ryan said the party was the first week in December right? I'll need a couple weeks at least, so how about we say (at least for track specific stuff) end of this month?

Would you be able to capture from a dvd format? Not raw data on a dvd, but a dvd that has menus and stuff?

You can use a trial of Magic DVD Ripper for a few times to get the raw video out.

Carl has a 500gb external USB drive I gave him to copy the 'More than Meet the Eye' RX clips - he's bringing it to the next meeting. Feel free to pass it around to collect video/pics for Scott. Maybe people could bring laptops and dump what they have at the meeting? I have another just like it, so I don't need it back right away.
