What's Happening

It's our annual Christmas Party/Awards Banquet/December Meeting. We will have a catered meal and President Holton dressed in a chicken suit for entertainment! :lol: We will being handing out season points trophies (newly designed by our own David Spratte) as well as a few other "special" awards. Lots of humor and and poking fun will occur, so if you can't take a joke, too bad! :wink: Just like last year, we will have *lots* of room, and we don't have to cook or cleanup! All we have to do is eat, drink, and be merry!

When:
Saturday December 9th, 2006
Doors open at *6:00, First plate off at *7:00

Where:
Bill's Barbeque & Convention Center in Wilson, NC (see directions below)

Cost: $10 per person

What You Need To Bring:
Yourself and significant other or a guest
Your ballot in the November H&T for your choice of 2007 THSCC Officers (bribes are encouraged :wink: )
Money for your 2007 Membership renewal ($25 Individuals, $35 Couples)
Money for your 2007 Season Pass ($150). Save $30 and never have to register next year!
Money for the raffles. 50/50 drawing and lots of prizes will be offered.

Food:
The party will be catered buffet-style by Bill's Barbeque. Good stuff!
Their buffet is sizeable and will include all of the following:

Fried Chicken
Barbeque Chicken
Chopped Pork Barbeque (this is the *real* kind from Eastern NC)
Chicken Pastry (no it ain't dumplings you Yankees!)
Brunswick Stew (no it ain't Sucatash either!)
Boiled Potatoes
String Beans
Collards
Potato Salad
Cole Slaw
Yams
Cornsticks
Hushpuppies
Dinner rolls or biscuits
Banana Pudding
Peach Cobbler

Drinks:
Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided
If you prefer alcohol, then it's BYOB as usual.

Directions:

From Raleigh take US 64 East toward Wendell / Zebulon
At Zebulon exit right and merge onto US 264 East toward Wilson (approx 23 miles)
Get off onto Exit #42 Downing Street
Turn Right on to Downing Street
Follow Downing Street to stoplight (approx 1.5 miles)
Bills Barbeque is directly ahead of you on the right.
Turn right on Forest Hills Road and immediately left into the parking lot.
We will be in the Convention Center to right of the restaurant.
Parking is on the sides and rear of the building.
Entrances to the banquet room we are using will be marked.

If you are directionally-challenged and cannot follow these directions, you can enter the follow street address in MapQuest or your GPS/NAV system: 3007 Downing St SW, Wilson, NC

C'mon out and have good time with us! We always have a blast!

whos going, i may or may not go, crowds and reallly formal thigns are nto my deal normally, but y'all are often qiute low key, which i dig, ill be moved out of elm city and back in raleigh by then most likely
