Hi Y'all -

The last few planned bus days never happened, and the bus is going to be making a long trip on Thursday to the SCCA RallyX Nationals, so it's time to DO A LITTLE CLEANUP!

What: Bus cleanup and maintenance day

When: Monday July 3, 10AM-2PM?

Where: Kevin's place in Four Oaks

Who: NEED VOLUNTEERS! The more the merrier. I have a long list of things to do, but let's at least get it clean and nice looking to represent the club well at the SCCA event.

PLEASE PLEASE post here if you know you can make it out for a few hours, even to do a few simple things like sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, tire pressures, etc.

I'll post a list tomorrow of all the stuff to be done.

Please step up to help iout your club if you can! Thanks!

Damn those spectators for breaking the rear of your car- that girl must have weighed at least 50 lbs!!! :)

Seriously, what's wrong with the car?

Sorry I can't be there to help with the bus, I'm actually *working* on Monday......

I'll be there. Can you bring your R134 air conditioning gages or adapters as my gages don't fit R-134. The air conditioning appears to be working but might as well check it. Could you also bring the charging chart that you had.

Yeah, the AC periodically goes weak while driving. PLEASE check it!

See you guys at 10AM or whenever you show up. If you have any questions or requests, give me a call.

Hey, guess what... after you guys left, I went over to close the hood on the bus and heard hissing. Checked it a couple hours later, still hissing. Hope it's still hissing after next weekend, or it's going to be a loooong trip to VA and back.

Identify/fix hissing sound

Added a new item for your list there, Mike. Just a guess, but I'm thinking that sound was the AC leaking. If it's a dust bowl up in VA, and it will be if it's dry, we cannot open the windows on the bus or everything inside will be coated.

Mitch is going up to Kevin's this morning to see if he cna figure it out. The AC had some charge in it when we started working -- the leak actually must have developed/worsened while we were charging it. Hopefully Mitch can figure it out!
