To all members...............

I received a call today from Kurt Spitzner, long time member and creator of
a lot of our AX and track events thru the Car Guys era, that his father, Al
Spitzner, passed away yesterday after suffering a massive stroke on Sunday.

Al has had several small strokes over the past 3 -4 years and had recovered
completely from them. However, during Easter dinner he suffered another one
from which he could not survive. And as Kurt said on the phone, he passed
away doing what he loved best, having a meal with friends and enjoying life.

Funeral will be Saturday in Mebane, NC. Kurt's cell phone number is
303-204-0375. The home number is 919-563-4838. Home address: 1250
Woodhaven Drive, Mebane, NC 27302. Al's widow in Lou.
