What's New:
Unlike years past at he cramped Arts Council Building, we will have *lots* of room (about 3X more actually), and we don't have to cook or cleanup! All we have to do is eat, drink, and be merry!

When:
Saturday December 10th, 2005
Gates open at *6:00, First plate off at *7:00

Where:
Bill's Barbeque & Convention Center in Wilson, NC (see directions below)

Cost: $10 per person

Bring:
Yourself and significant other or a guest
The ballot in the November H&T for your choice of '06 THSCC Officers
Money for your '06 Membership renewal ($25 Individuals, $35 Couples)
Money for your '06 Season Pass ($150). Save $30 and never have to register next year!
Money for the raffles. 50/50 drawing and fun prizes will be offered

Food:
The party will be catered buffet-style by Bill's Barbeque. Good stuff!
Their buffet is sizeable and will include all of the following:

Fried Chicken
Barbeque Chicken
Chopped Pork Barbeque (this is the *real* kind from Eastern NC)
Chicken Pastry (no it ain't dumplings you Yankees!)
Brunswick Stew (no it ain't Sucatash either!)
Boiled Potatoes
String Beans
Collards
Potato Salad
Cole Slaw
Yams
Cornsticks
Hushpuppies
Dinner rolls or biscuits
Banana Pudding
Peach Cobbler

Drinks:
Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided
If you prefer alcohol, then it's BYOB as usual.

Directions:

From Raleigh take US 64 East toward Wendell / Zebulon
At Zebulon exit right and merge onto US 264 East toward Wilson (approx 23 miles)
Get off onto Exit #42 Downing Street
Turn Right on to Downing Street
Follow Downing Street to stoplight (approx 1.5 miles)
Bills Barbeque is directly ahead of you on the right.
Turn right on Forest Hills Road and immediately left into the parking lot.
We will be in the Convention Center to right of the restaurant.
Parking is on the sides and rear of the building.
Entrances to the banquet room we are using will be marked.

If you are directionally-challenged and cannot follow these directions you can enter the follow street address in MapQuest or your GPS/NAV system: 3007 Downing St SW, Wilson, NC

C'mon out and have good time with us! We always have a blast!

I'll offer my Durango and cover the gas $$ for 5 other lucky people from Western Cary if one person will volunteer to be a designated driver home :)

GT2 on the big screen at my house after the party! GT3 if someone brings a PS2. (wait... is there a GT4 yet?) Hell, the Durango has a DVD ... GT3 on the way home!

We could pick up a few folks between Fuquay and Wilson, along NC42 :idea2: DD not needed, since we will take only a couple of 1.5's of some of that there Mer-LOTT wine.

Seriously, we could accomodate a couple of folks, if they're along the route via either NC42 or US264.

Lemme know.

Bump. Times are now confirmed. See updated post above. Also they would prefer that we DO NOT bring any food due to Health Dept. regulations. However alchohol IS PERMITTED so BYOB as usual.

Will be making fun of YOU so if you're easily offended...well. :)

?? My November Heel & Toe (with ballot included) came in the mail two weeks ago. I believe Mary will be posting a ballot online soon.

Brian - do you want to get up a North Durham car pool to the party?
