So I saw the bus on 64... guess it came home, huh? Either that or someone got really lost on the way to Laurinburg.

As already noted, the bus didn't make it to Laurinburg. We tried, we failed. We still need a bus driver for this weekend.

The good news is that the trip is MUCH faster now with the US 1 bypass open, the AC also works on the bus.

We need to have someone volunteer to drive the bus down on Friday morning or during the week who can leave it at the airport. This will not be a course that can be set up in 5 minutes with 30 cones like on our smaller sites. :D Well it could be, but that is what started the flame-a-thon 2 months age

If it does not get there, we will have a virtual course with the 35 cones that are in my truck and those we can steal from US1 on the way down.

Seriously, we need someone to get the bus there on Friday by noon or before.

Thank you in advance for stepping up to the plate.

I can drive the bus down on Friday but I would need a ride back to Durham that evening. That probably doesn't fit what you guys are looking for but if it will help, just let me know. I'll see if I can get a friend to come down with me on Friday (to give me a ride back) but it is fairly unlikely. I should know something by this evening.

Remember the bus driver gets free lodging for the weekend. 8) So if someone wants to help the club and save money this is a good way.

I can bring it back, but I can't take time off Friday. If you could handle having it get there Saturday morning then maybe I could do something.

Jim,
If you can get it down there...I could probably be down there by about 3PM to pick you up.
