BUS DAY August 30th!

The first of two bus days will take place this coming weekend. I will be out at the bus at 10:00 am ready to clean/sort/trash cones first and foremost. Also, we will need to do some radio checks as well as continuity checks on our timing cables. The main goal of the day is to THROW STUFF AWAY that doesn't need to be in the bus. There are other tasks as well. I don't think it will take too long.

Post here ideas of stuff that needs to get done and we will do what we can. Also post if you can come out to help.

There will be beer, in fact very fresh beer. Beer that I just put in my keg a couple days ago.

Ricky/Roger, do you guys have a hose available? Also, if we have large amounts of trash, is there a dumpster, or do we need to plan on disposing of piles of cones somewhere else?

There's a hose in the last bay (connected to the deep sink), and a spigot on the front of the building. I'd bring one to use out front. My pressure washer is in the first bay, behind Duffy. We'll be there that weekend working on the race car.

We pay L&T for use of their dumpster; as long as we don't half fill it, they won't mind.

An awesome bus day. We were basically done by the time lunch got there. Threw out 115 cones, and a bunch of other junk. We have a good shopping list that we are working through this afternoon. Big thanks to Rob Lupella, Steve Spampinato, Francis Chan, Zach and Rebecca Williams for coming out to help. We will be having another bus day later in September to wash the bus out and find a home for the new stuff we are buying.

I had full intentions of showing up for this, then I woke up late and it was about a 45 minute drive to get there and then I got a bit lazy. Glad things got taken care of quickly though!

I also wanted to show up for this, but then I woke up in Latvia. Hopefully the September date is the last weekend; I'm either traveling or at the track every other weekend.
