After many years of helping us, Chris Suich is asking for the bus to have a new home. To Chris I say Thank You for watching over it the past years, really appreciate the help! That said, can anyone in the club help store the bus? This will get you free entries in the rallyx and autox events and I'm sure we can get some discounts for track as well (have to confirm w/ the track staff).

If no one can store it, we'll need to start looking at some of the storage sites. If we have to do that option, might be nice to find some place central in the triangle.

Anyway, if someone can step forward and help, we'd certainly like to talk to you! We can also use some suggestions on storage sites.

Bret Luter, would you be willing to help us out and let us park it out the BMW farm?

If you don't mind it being in WF, I have plenty of room for it.

Cash, thanks for the offer! You are quite some distance from me, but I'm sure others are closer. I guess I'm spoiled by the bus only being 20 min from me right now. You certainly have the room. Will this just slot into the space opened up by the firebird? =)

We can definitely keep it here if you want.

We can keep it at the shop. I'm in Raleigh right off Capital, just north of 440. There's plenty of room in the parking lot where I keep the Duff Beer RV.

Thanks, I have one weird spot that's right off the street that's kind of like a private parking spot with a 10' privacy fence around it, but it's only 45' long. I may park the RV there if the bus/trailer won't fit. Otherwise we can put it behind the shop along the fence.

We could also reach out to Janko. We have parked it there on occasion if Roger doesn't have room.

Got plenty of room at my place, if you can work with the location.

I don't know about autox, but you're about half way between the current two rallyx sites. And not too far off I-40. (the rallyx instructions to BWM Farms are over a mile off, 3.2mi north not 2.1mi) It's a haul for me (or Charlie) to get out there; I don't know about Brice, Noah, et. al.

The bus is currently locked in at our (Roger and my) warehouse @ 2817 Brewton Place. [MAP] (the dumpster, and the red corvette with the blue tarp over it, aren't there anymore.) Unless I'm told otherwise, I'll return it to that corner after the Wilson Rally-X. I'll put a combo lock on that gate so a key won't be necessary.

I'd like to stuff it back in here, but that's almost exactly 40ft to the wall behind that gate. And that telephone pole will make it a real bitch to get in and out. (plus the a-holes at Fovie parking their junk up and down the street... including in our drive way! After an argument with the police and Ace Towing there, they've not blocked that drive. But this weekend, there was a delivery truck taking up a good bit on the corner where Rodney had to turn. Granted, the THSCC bus is smaller than the Duff "mobile oppression palace".)
