I'm stuck on ideas for an in-town fun day for my wife and 6-12 friends on Sat Feb 15th (day after valentines!). Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Good comedy acts in town? Special event at a club or restaurant? Gourmet restaurant sampling tour? Something adventurous? (but will be cold and have a variety of people invited). Not boring is good, but even a cool restaurant suggestion is welcome :)

Throw anything out there ... no she doesn't have any interest in karting :)

Charlie Goodnights is always fun. For my wife's, we did a similar thing - an outing with 12-15 people. The biggest hit was a Trivia test I made up to see who knew her best. It was 25 questions from childhood to present - some funny, some embarrassing. It was a huge hit, kept everyone engaged and prizes were given out for the "Best" and "Worst" friend based on their scores.

Have Fun!

Well that's a shame. When Carla Ball turned 40, her husband John Messenheimer took her out to dinner in N. Raleigh, then on the way home stopped in at Adventure Landing, which he had rented out for the evening. He invited the club to help her celebrate. She was surprised but also delighted. It helped that she was a very active autocrosser at the time and that the weather was warm.

Happy Birthday to Kendra!

I don't know much about it, but The Book of Mormon is playing at the DPAC that weekend.

this is a car forum so the answer is easy - buy her a new car!

and then, maybe, you know, convert her current one into a race car.
