Does anyone have a lead on where I can find a Garage bay to rent? I don't need a lift, just a couple good outlets on a solid breaker. I need to put my old BMW in there and work on it. It's 95 miles away from me and progress is really slow reassembling the car. A storage container really isn't adequate because of the poor lighting and restrictions on materials. Searching online leads mostly to shady people or commercial spaces that are very expensive.

You might PM Roger McDaniels or Ricky Beam, IIRC, they currently rent a space for working on thier Lemons car.

Yeah, the owner rubbed me the wrong way when he wouldn't rent me a BMW RTAB tool after I walked there one Saturday....had to go to Mike Whitney's house to get one :).

I'd offer, but all our space is in use. (we're in the processes of building another one :-) but that'll be many months out)

(I'll ask Rock if he could spare a bay for a day or two, if they'd be enough time. Last I looked (Sat, when the nuts tripped a breaker that runs the web servers), they had cars in all the bays. If you can work outside, then I have plenty of space.)

This car doesn't have amenities like weather stripping or seals...so it has to be indoors.
