Dyno Day on June 9th at LRR is confirmed!

Start time is 9AM start time, and we'll run ~4 pulls per hour (maybe a bit more for those who want back to back pulls). If we get enough interest, we can consider bringing out a grill again, and doing a BBQ lunch.

I need a count on # of pulls from those who are interested. We will get the same $25/pull rate as last time. As a reminder, LRR is a club sponsor and helps make our events happen, so if you've considered dyno'ing your car or truck, bring it out!

Please respond here with how many pulls you'd like, and whether your timing can be flexible for that Saturday morning. If you need a fixed time slot, we can work with it, but until I get a few more details ironed out, flexibility is preferred.

I'll update this thread with names and count as responses come in.

Thanks!

Signed up so far, in hour slot increments

9-10: Cash D (2), James M (2), Jordan N (2)
10-11: Les D (2), Ricky B (2),
11-12: Les D (2) Brian M (1), James M (2), Marcus M (1)
12-1: Mike W (1+)

Edit: Schedule updated with latest inputs

I'm in for at least a couple pulls in the Miata, potentially a couple more depending on vehicle purchase in the coming weeks.

I'm in. I need to go early though since I need to be at Lake Wheeler around noon.

I'll do another 4 pulls.

no can do this one.... and the bullitt is already base lined.

Dustin, I'd validate the price per pull when you get a chance so you can set expectations.

Sounds good. Except someone else is having a dyno day the same day. [not a club sponsor so I won't say more.]

It'd be good to see the bug's power on a different dyno. (esp. after 4 hours near red-line at VIR at last track event) Y'all ever dyno a hybrid? (Lexus HS - 2 runs, one in power mode, one in eco mode)

I'm also interested in two pulls, but I also have to go early in the morning. The girls have Dance Recital after lunch. :D

I'm in for one "pull" for the honda. Any reason I might need two?

I'd love to see how much power Kate's Focus makes but its got 150k on the timing belt. :D

I am in for at least 2 anytime Sat.

In the past when I have dynoed my car, it always makes the most power on the 3rd run, but I have never dynoed more than 3 runs in a row. I think the main reason for the power increase is that the fluids become less viscous with the heat.

I'm in no shape for a 10hr dance recital. Me bustin a move :hyper2: - something no one wants to see. My daughter on the other hand is a talent not to be missed.

Is this still a go? I'm in for two pulls on the NC and two on the new tow rig but I need these to stradle noon with a fair amount of time in between.

I am still in for at least 2. If plans fall apart with LRR though I will go the place off Capital that is offering 3 runs for $30.

Family thing to do around 2pm, so if I can be home no later than about 1230-1, I'm in for one pull, maybe two (if first sucks)

last condition: my slot can't be at 8am. I've been playing "single dad" since last Thurs and am in dire need of catch-up sleep
