Of course, plenty of slots still!

Dustin, sign me up for a slot with the WRX ... but I can only do later in the afternoon, after 2pm. If that doesn't work with the other 4wd cars, skip it.

I would take a couple slots for the Mustang and Magnum, unfortunately I'll be in the Bahamas. :D

Still waiting to hear if they do motorcycles, but in the mean time I might throw the M5 up if there is an afternoon RWD spot open. We have a kids NC symphony thing at 11 so I won't be able to make it over to LRR until at least 2-3pm or later

No cycles, sorry.

It was explained to me that for cars, the Dyno uses an ~3000 lb rotating drum, which is considered an "average" vehicle weight. For Motorcycle Dyno's, the drum is significantly lighter, and you can't just bolt a bike to an auto dyno.

We're just barely pushing the 2-3pm envelope right now. I will keep you penciled in and we can touch base at the beginning of next week if that's ok?

depending on time. I need to be later in the afternoon or cancel. I have to work till 1 that day, wont be able to be there till 2.

There's enough people that need 2pm+ shifts that I'm inclined to ensure we are running then. Please plan to be there as soon as we can, and we'll make it happen.

anyone know if they tune cars? subarus to be exact? they are walking distance from my friends house who has a 2010 sti and its a convenient place to go for AWD dyno, but just curious on tuning abilities.

YES! in fact they bring in a tuner a couple times a week, I believe he said, specifically specializing in Suby's (a guy from Fayetteville).

Have him call Eric at LRR at 810-614-3376

They give you a comfy desk seat right next to the action, with a computer monitor showing all the same info they get from the portable monitor they use in the car. You'll know everything they do, but they do the actual Loud Pedal pressing.

Side note: I'm sure there's good reason for this - I have to imagine that doing the wrong thing at the wrong time could have bad consequences (safety for folks around as well as their shop, their equipment, and your car), and they can't just trust "anybody" to be at the wheel.

Will LRR also be doing car setup that day? I need to get an alignment and corner balance on the Miata and was planning on bringing it there anyway.

Most of the shop will be out to an event that weekend, so nobody will be there to do this. However, they would be more than happy to accommodate you most other days.

I would add that LRR is very trustworthy and if you don't trust them enough to run your car through a few gears in a stationary position, best not to sign up for the dyno day at all.

I'd like to have one pull, just to see what my car can do (don't really have anything to tune with) if there's still room. I don't want to take a spot away from anyone who needs it to actually do some tune adjustment though. My car is also AWD.

I cast my ballot for a single pull but wasn't sure whether it captured my name. So, I'm in for a pull if there is room.

Dustin, I take it that you'll be giving us the time frames for specific drive wheel types (rear, all, wrong) this week?

Correct. I think there's only 1-2 AWD cars, and as I recall at least one had preference for an end-of-day pull, so my game plan right now is to put those guys at the end of the day. I'll be contacting those guys directly for confirmation (or feel free to confirm here).
