Was looking at the weather (for this weekend) and it looks to be decent. Assuming Chris can help, anyone up for a bus day? Need to clean it up and find out what needs to be fixed/replaced/repaired. As soon as I hear back from Chris, I’ll post back for a go/nogo for this weekend.

I'm game for Saturday morning or afternoon. It really needs a good interior scrub/Armor All along with some labelling of the auto-x bins.

Damn, Steve had a good suggestion, go figure!

Bus day is on, 10-2 this Saturday. Right now this is more of a clean up and order crap to be replaced day. If we find major stuff to address (and I hope not considering time/effort/money spent last year) we'll schedule a followup work day. Off of the top of my shiny head, we need....

> fire extinguisher check
> make sure all forms are in order and labeled for quick access.
> make sure waivers from last year are signed by officers and filed
> check first aid
> check tires/pressures/bearings, retorque nuts as needed
> check batteries
> check for any signs of water leaks and repair
> check all wiring connections, had issues last year
> check ALL electrical stuff and make sure in good working order
> check timing heads/reflectors
> check all cables
> check all radios and batteries. We need to recycle the old stuff that's been accumulating
> check merchandise stuff and order new
> check log books
> check helmets for dates and overall condition, chunk what's bad
> look over file cabinets and make sure still secure
> check both remote PA
> check cones and chunk any bad cones
> look at adding new labels to boxes as needed. Anyone have a label maker they can bring?
> go through the shelving boxes and organize and trash what we don't need

I'm sure there's more stuff to do. I think w/ this much to review, we can use 8-10 folks on site, plenty to do.

I'll be there along Jordan. Chris will be our bus host as usual. Please drop by and help out if you can.

Im not 100% sure if i can make it, but wanted to ask for yall to hold on to any bad cones.

I think we can use them to keep at NCCAR, Wilson, or brets.

unless of course they are completely trashed.

I'll bring my super-deluxe label maker from work and some extra folders. See you then. We've got new radios and grip tape for the stairs too.

This sounds like a good excuse to take a spin in the race car. I can help.

I've got a transmission to install in the morning, but I might be able to come later morning, early afternoon for a few hours.

I can be there for part of the time, and I think Brantley can come too.

I won't be able to make it, so can somebody inventory the marking materials and let me know the info? We'll need several cans of orange spray paint for the first rallyx and some drywall for the test & tune.

That way Matt won't have to go get it for us.

Welcome to the rallycrossing, now go to Home Depot for us so we have a way to mark this course or something like that...

I'll let you know what I find.

FYI, HD/Lowes will let you have the chunks of drywall they use to separate the stacks. There's generally a few off to the side in the drywall section that haven't been thrown out yet. They are pressed together and require a few good whacks with a chisel and hammer to separate into "marking sized" pieces, but it's free.
