Just like the title says, we need to start looking for a new meeting location. If you have suggestions, please send them so I can go out and look at what places have to offer.

We get kicked out again? Or just a better, more suitable place?

Blinko's was very good in regard to food, beer and wait staff, but just a little to tight elbowroom wise. Just looking for a larger space.

Milton's Pizza and Pasta.

Close to I540 on Six Forks and Strickland. Separate room seats 65.

Very popular

+1 for Miltons. Pizza/Pasta buffet makes it easy too. The one in WF has two different size rooms IIRC.

I don't think Miltons does a buffet at dinner. Just salad bar option with dinner.

I was at a dinner meeting there last week in WF. We had the small room - about 30 people. They setup the buffet for us but the rest of the restaurant could only get the salad bar. I assume they'll set it up for a scheduled meeting.

What about Tobacco Road Sports Cafe? There's one in Raleigh and one in Durham, I've never been to the one in Raleigh, but the one in Durham has great food, an awesome beer selection, and fast service. Their website claims "Our Durham location can accomodate private parties ranging in size from 5 to 500" and the Raleigh one can accommodate 5-200. The atmosphere is great too, IMHO. We take our whole team here every friday for lunch.

I spoke to the manager at the bistro a while back when this discussion first started. She said they would be happy to have us as long as there is not an event at the RBC center. They have a room that should be able to seat 40 and they have decent food.

+1 for Tobacco Road (or anywhere in Durham!).

Have we decided where the January 11th meeting will be?

I got some mixed reviews last night in regard to staying at Rally Point. I think my concerns are...

> Wait staff seemed a little frustrated and disorganized (again). Orders took forever and no consistency. Ended up getting bills late.
> noise from bar was bleeding over to our room. Hard to hear
> My concern is if we have to go into the large open room w/ no privacy walls and we request to turn down the music, it's going to be a mess w/ bar music and conversations.

To be honest, while I think Drew has tried to accommodate us, right now I vote for another location, but that's my opinion.

I need feedback on Rally Point please....

I like it. I thought the service last night was pretty decent, but we had Justin at our table, and our waitress seemed to want him pretty badly. And then Mr. Janko Moneybags showed up, and it got even better.

Only problem is the noise, but it's not that bad. Of course, I rarely pay attention to what you're saying, so...

Next.

Second verse, same as the first. It was just like the first meeting, almost as if they didn't expect us again. I know of at least one person that waited almost an hour for their food and just ended up canceling their order.
