I can help with the bus if I work the school.
Getting bus to BMW farm after the event and getting me home will be the next challenge.

Damn, if we only had a new bus with a tow dolly.

Chris, it looks like about 1:10 from Sanford to BMW. I'm working the school and could be persuaded to follow you to BMW and give you a ride home.

actually..... I can drive the bus down to the event. Since it's my mom's b-day that weekend and she lives down in Sanford, I'll get Pam to come down and bring me back home. You guys can have the bus after all the cones, flags and other event stuff is back on the bus. Chris, I'll get up w/ you later to come pick up the bus.

actually..... now I will have to drive to Sanford myself which would leave me with a car in Sanford or catch a ride.

The SS guys are asking for some stuff that's not on the bus. We need a portable bull horn and decent sized air compressor. Anyone have some of this stuff they can loan out for this event? Your help is much appreciated!

I'm pretty sure we have a bullhorn you can use, let me check with the wife on it. Its not TECHNICALLY ours, but I think we could loan it out. She's the head usher for the Duke basketball games for the grad students, and its used for that.

I'm assuming they'll need to borrow our club generator along with whoever's air compressor, right?

It may not be working anymore, but the club has a bullhorn in one of the boxes in the trailer. I think it takes 6 or 8 AA batteries.
